The TA has the following outputs: (i) a cost effective and transparent methodology for cadastral surveys of agricultural land; (ii) a system of land registration, including the registration of buildings, structures, and rural land; (iii) a mechanism for land use and environment monitoring; and (iv) recommended legislative amendments to make the cadastral and land registration procedures more transparent and efficient, and to improve security of land tenure for individual farmers. | Project Tasks | - Investigate and analyze the current situation and possibilities for improvements
- Design and develop methodology and additional functions to the land registration system
- Development of a cost-effective and transparent methodology for cadastral surveys of rural land.
- The existing land cadastre system complemented with functions for registration of buildings and rural land plots
- Proposals for amending legislation to improve transparency and efficiency of the cadastral and land registration procedures, and to strengthen security of land tenure for individual farmers
- Provision of license for ILS Land Register System (LRS) software application, including customization for local technical, legal and regulatory environment
- Provision of comprehensive on-site training for use of LRS and ongoing maintenance and support for software application
